The host communities surrounding Emadeb’s operations are major stakeholders in our business. We recognise that responsible operations extend beyond our facilities and into the communities where we live and work.
Around Ijegun-Egba, the concentration of tank farms and associated movement of petroleum products makes traffic management, drainage, fire safety and road infrastructure important shared priorities. Through the Tank Farm Owners Association, Emadeb supports initiatives focused on alternative access roads, improved fire-response infrastructure, drainage and community safety sensitisation.
The Emadeb Development Foundation carries this commitment further, supporting initiatives in education, enterprise, public health and sustainable community development - helping make the communities around our operations safer, stronger and more liveable.
Our community engagements are more than events. They reflect the relationships we build, the people we work with and our continuing commitment to being a responsible neighbour.
