Role: Sales and Marketing Officer
Location: Abuja

Job Objective:
To coordinate and execute sales and marketing activities at the locations assigned drive bulk
sales of petroleum products and manage retainerships agreements. The officer will drive
sales initiatives, support marketing efforts, build relationships with local clients, manage
relationships and their information and ensure the company’s petroleum products are well-
represented and sold efficiently within the assigned state. The role focuses on building
relationships with clients, managing client data, and ensuring that customers who purchase
products upfront receive their products on time.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction
and retention.
I-dentify and fulfil opportunities for retainerships and supply of products to bulk sales
and additional retail opportunities within the state.
-Execute marketing campaigns to promote petroleum products at retail stations.
-Ensure brand consistency and proper display of promotional materials at retail
stations.
-Identify new business opportunities for sales of products, targeting corporate clients,
residential apartments, and commercial properties.
-Maintain and update a database of client information, including transaction history
and purchase preferences.
-Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of
customer satisfaction.
-Identify local opportunities for marketing partnerships, community engagement, and
events.
-Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities within the
location.
-Liaise with Retail outlets on the provision of petroleum products, LPG and
CNG                                                                                                                               
-Organize and participate in customer feedback initiatives to improve service and
product offerings.
-Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure long-term client
relationships.
-Coordinate with the logistics team and station manager to ensure that clients receive
their products on time.

  • Experience:
  • -Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the
  • downstream oil and gas sector.
  • -Proven experience in managing client relationships and sales operations.
  • -Strong understanding of Nigeria’s downstream oil and gas market, particularly at the
  • retail level.
  • -Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management tools.
